I am a PhD student at University of Aveiro studying the recent expansion of Eurasian Spoonbills (Platalea leucorodia) in Portugal. I am investigating several aspects of spoonbill biology, such as diet, habitat use, demography and spatial movements in order to understand the current distribution of the species.
