Ricardo completed his PhD in Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia (UK) in 2014 and was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Aveiro (Portugal) and the Federal University of Alagoas (Brazil) studying human-nature interactions through digital technologies. Currently based at the University of Helsinki. he is generally interested in the application of technological developments applied to conservation science and practice.
