Ana Coelho is a PhD student at CESAM studying how migratory shorebird populations can be affected by environmental changes in the tropics, particularly in the Bijagós archipelago. She completed her master’s degree on Conservation Biology at the University of Lisbon exploring how anthropogenic land-use changes affect the service of avian seed dispersal in a tropical island, São Tomé.
